Liquid Solutions

This biere de garde style pours a hazy copper color. The head is large but settles down to a thin layer but leaves some nice lacing as it does. The aroma is fruity with notes of current and spice with some earthiness to boot. The flavor is malty caramel with sweet fruit esters and spicy herbal hops. The finish is dry with the earthy / funky tones one expects from a biere de garde.
