Dark mahogany in color this Vinter beer pours with a medium sized dense head. The aroma is malty and nutty with a great piney / grassy hop. The flavor is of darkly caramelized malts and a hop profile that comes off almost juniper like. This is a great tasting winter ale that is not soooo big that you have to stop at just one. A couple two three pints of this would be perfect.
