This dark cherry ale is barrel aged and blended, young with old. Cloudy dark red with tons for carbonation that tries to creep out of the bottle when opened. The aroma is heavy cherry with a tart lactic kick. The flavor has just a short brown malt flavor that is quickly overrun by cherry, wood, and that tart lactic finish. The body is light but it is not that surprising considering it is quite dry. If you are looking for a tart dry cherry brew that is not as funky as most lambics but still has plenty of depth and character this one is for you.
