Auction Lot 45
Lot 45 Three bottles of Full Sails 1998 Old Boardhead Barleywine.
IMHO (and others that follow this beer year to year) 1998 was the best vintage. That year seemed to have a higher malt presence and a softer mouth feel. Now the mouth feel and changed over the years (a little thinner and a little sharper) but the malty goodness goes on and on. I have not tried a 98 since 2004 but it was pretty awesome then.
